How to Jailbreak Firestick (Updated 2023 Method)

In this tutorial I will be showing you how you can quickly and easily jailbreak your Amazon Firestick, allowing you to install third party/unofficial apps, such as Kodi 19.5 Matrix onto your device.

This will allow you to watch an unlimited amount of content, for free. Watch any movies, tv shows and live sports you want, all in HD (even 4K) with no buffering.

How to Jailbreak Amazon Firestick (Easy Method 2023):

Tutorial for new Firestick menu:

(If you don’t see the options below, you have an older version of the Firestick menu. Therefore, please follow the second tutorial below):

  1. First, power on your Amazon Firestick and on the home screen click the “Find” option.
  2. Then click on “Search”
  3. Search for “Downloader” and select the first option.
  4. Download and install the “Downloader” app to your device.
  5. Once it is installed, go back to your Amazon Firestick home screen.
  6. Go to “Settings” and click “My Fire TV”
  7. Select “Developer options”
  8. Click on “Install unknown apps” and select the “Downloader” app
  9. Switch “Install unknown apps” to “ON” for the app. This will allow you to jailbreak your device.
  10. You can now open the “Downloader” app and use it to download and install jailbroken apps, such as Kodi. Follow the other guides on this website to learn more about Kodi.

Tutorial for old Firestick menu:

  1. First, power on your Amazon Firestick and on the home screen find and click the “search” option (Usually at the top of the screen).
  2. Search for “Downloader” and select the first option.
  3. Download and install the “Downloader” app to your device.
  4. Once it is installed, click “Open” or “Launch”
  5. When asked about photo, media and file access, click “Allow”.
  6. Click “OK” on the quick start guide.
  7. Now exit the app and go back to your Amazon Firestick home screen.
  8. Go to “Settings” and click “My Fire TV”
  9. Select “Developer options”
  10. Click on “Apps from “Unknown Sources”” and select “ON”. This will allow you to jailbreak your device. If prompted, make sure the “Downloader” app is also set to “ON”.
  11. You can now open the “Downloader” app and use it to download and install jailbroken apps, such as Kodi. Follow the other guides on this website to learn more about Kodi.
